A Letter

For the days you feel like nothing

You can read this alone. It asks nothing of you.

If you are reading this on one of those days, the kind where you feel like there is nothing about you worth discussing, nothing anyone would miss, then I wrote it for exactly this moment. So take a breath, and stay with me for a minute.

I have had those nights. The ones where you have held everything together for everyone, and then the lights go off and there is just you, and the quiet verdict that you are somehow not enough, that you never quite were. I know how heavy that is. I know it does not lift because someone tells you to think positive. I am not going to do that to you.

Here is the only thing I want you to hear tonight, and you do not have to believe it yet. You are not empty. You are buried. There is a difference, and it is everything. Empty means there is nothing there. Buried means there is something real underneath. There is something that has been yours the whole time that is covered over by years of trying to be acceptable, useful, impressive, enough.

You do not feel worthy right now. I understand. But feeling it and being it are not the same thing, and you do not have to feel your worth for it to be true. A person does not stop being valuable because they lost sight of it. The ground does not disappear because a pile got stacked on top of it.

You are worthy of love and not the kind you have to earn by being who everyone needs, but the kind that meets the real, tired, unfinished you. You are valuable, and not because of what you produce or how much you hold together. You matter. Not someday, when you have fixed yourself. Now. As you are, on this exact day, in whatever state you are in.

You do not have to do anything with this. You do not have to be ready, or hopeful, or okay. Just let it sit next to you tonight, like someone who chose to stay in the room with you and did not need you to perform.

You are worth digging for. I mean it.

If this reached you

Leave your email and I will write again — a quiet letter now and then, for the harder days. No selling. No pressure. You can leave whenever you like.

Please enter a valid email and I'll write again soon.

I will only ever write to you. No lists, no noise. Leave anytime.

I'm glad this found you.

You will hear from me — gently, and only when it might help. For now, that is all you have to do. Rest.

When you are ready — and only then, with no rush at all — there is a room where we do this together.
