The Autonomy Commission

Two Courses for the
Man Who Has Been
Carrying It Alone

One course names the cage the good man built for himself. The other names the sexual self he has never fully owned. They were built to be taken together.

See the Two Courses

There are two kinds of weight a man carries when he has spent years being the one who carries everything. There is the weight of the giving itself, the ledger he swore he did not keep, the resentment that grows in a man who is useful but never known. And there is a quieter, more private weight, carried in a part of his life he rarely names directly, where a picture of what a man's desire was supposed to look like was handed to him before he ever chose it.

Most men, when they begin this work, do not yet know which weight is heavier. They only know they are tired in a way that makes no sense on paper, and that being told to try harder, give more, or perform better has never once addressed the actual problem. The Autonomy Commission has built two courses for exactly this man. One for the cage he built to stay safe. One for the sexual self that was buried under a script he never chose. Both are diagnostic. Both end in his recovery of his own ground. They are presented here as a paired offering because the work of one deepens the work of the other.

The Two Courses

Built Separately. Designed Together.

Each course stands alone. Each course addresses what the other cannot. Together, they walk the full territory.

Course One

Not Like Other Men

A Complete Path Out of the Good Man's Cage

This course names the sentence you said to feel safe, and the cage it became. It teaches the descent into what you installed to stay useful, and the climb back to a self that can give freely, hold its ground, and stop proving it is the better kind of man.

Structure. Five modules. Sixteen lessons. Worksheets, lectures, reflections, plus a self-directed edition.

Arc. The sentence that was supposed to save you. What you installed to stay safe. The self underneath the service. Tested in the room. The man who is finally here.

Companion. The 35 Chains and Freedoms reference, mapped to the Six C's of Autonomy.

Course Two

Unbound in the Body

A Course of Study in Sexual Identity for Men

This course names the picture of male desire you were handed before you ever chose it, and the performance it required. It teaches the recovery of the sexual self that was always yours, distinct from the enhancement trap, the borrowed want, and the numbness that was never biological.

Structure. Four descending diagnostic floors, then four ascending corridors of recovery. Worksheets, lectures, reflections.

Arc. Symptoms named as data. The enhancement cycle and the borrowed image. The ten masks in the male erotic domain. The invisible sexual contracts. Discovery, alignment, refinement, amplification.

Companion. The Autonomy Commission community and group coaching.

How They Work Together

Each Opens What the Other Cannot Reach

The two courses address different dimensions of the same underlying architecture. Most men who begin with one eventually need both. The pairing was not accidental. It was built.

I
Same Architecture
Both courses rest on Resonant Identity Theory. Identity is recognized, not constructed. Recovery is excavation, not addition. The Six C's of Autonomy structure both courses. The voice and method are continuous from one to the other.
II
Different Territory
Not Like Other Men addresses the relational and identity architecture of the good man's cage. Unbound in the Body addresses the sexual and somatic architecture underneath it. The two territories overlap, but they require different treatment. One cannot be substituted for the other.
III
Built to Be Paired
The body course assumes work Not Like Other Men has done. It can be taken alone, but it goes further when the identity ground has already been laid. Most men take Not Like Other Men first, then move into the body course when they are ready.
Investment

Two Courses. Three Ways to Take Them.

Each course is offered at two levels. The third option is the path most men eventually walk. Enrollment is by consultation, never by checkout.

The Path Most Men Walk

Adding the Body Course for Men Already Inside Not Like Other Men

$2,500
Saves $1,000 against the standalone body course price of $3,500

Men already enrolled in Not Like Other Men can add the body course at this rate. It is a single decision, made when the body work begins to reveal itself as the next territory.

Most men do not, at the moment of enrolling in Not Like Other Men, know that the body course will eventually become necessary. They come to the first course because the cost of the giving has become impossible to keep carrying. Six weeks in, eight weeks in, twelve weeks in, the sexual architecture begins to surface, the enhancement trap and the borrowed want become visible, and the recognition arrives that the first course alone, while substantial, will not address what the body has been carrying. This rate honors the man already inside the work, by making the next step something he can take without the standalone investment.

Who These Courses Are For

For the Man Who Already Knows

These courses are for the man who has been doing the impossible alone for a long time, and is ready to see clearly what he has been carrying.

For the man who carries everything, and has begun to suspect it is killing him.

For the man who is tired of being useful and never actually known.

For the man whose relationship with his own desire has left him genuinely uncertain whether it is his or borrowed from a source that had nothing to do with him.

For the man who performs desire, or performs strength, and has not named this to anyone, including himself.

For the man who has achieved everything the cultural script said would produce a satisfying life and finds it does not.

For the man who is ready to do the work, and not only read about it.

For the man who is ready to stop carrying this alone.

Honest Expectations

What These Courses Will and Will Not Do

What These Courses Will Do

Make the architecture visible that has been operating invisibly in your giving and your desire for years.

Give you the vocabulary, the diagnostic, and the practice to navigate what is actually true rather than what has been performed.

Produce, slowly, the man who is capable of giving freely, holding his ground, and making decisions from his own ground rather than from the ledger.

Restore your access to a self that is known rather than merely useful, and a desire that is yours rather than borrowed.

What These Courses Will Not Do

Tell you what to do about any particular relationship. The decision is yours, and it arrives from the man the work has produced.

Give you scripts for confrontations or techniques for managing the people around you. The work runs on recognition rather than performance.

Promise that the people in your life will respond the way you want them to. They will reveal themselves, and what they reveal is information.

Replace professional therapeutic, legal, or medical support. These are institutional courses, not substitutes for the help your specific situation may require.

When You Are Ready,
The Conversation Is Yours

Enrollment in either course is by consultation. Not by checkout, not by automatic intake, not by a sales call dressed up in motivational language. A real conversation, with James Tippins, about whether one of these courses is right for the particular life you are inside of.
